Learn how Code Red Safety matches you with the best available candidate
Code Red Safety is an industry leader in safety services. As a result, we’re often called upon by companies to provide on-site safety staff for projects. What you may not be familiar with, however, is what goes into delivering a highly trained safety specialist to your job site. We don’t just send you the first worker who answers the phone: a lot of additional vetting and planning happens behind the scenes.
Today, we’re going to walk you through every step of our safety services placement process. It should provide you with a better understanding of the work we do both during our search and after we’ve found you the right candidate for the job.
Understanding the Project
As soon as that first phone call comes in, Code Red Safety works to learn the ins and outs of your project. Knowing what kind of work will take place — and where it will take place — helps determine the kind of safety personnel Code Red will provide for your site.
Will they require specific types of training or certification? Is there a particular experience level you prefer? These are just some of the questions Code Red Safety will ask in order to gauge your needs and ensure we select the right person for the job. After that, the search begins.
Finding the Right Candidate
At Code Red Safety, we take a lot of pride in the monumental size of our safety specialist database. It contains details on over 15,000 personnel, and they are the best of the best when it comes to ensuring workplace safety.
We refine our search to include the top matches within range of your job site, and because options are good, present you with around three to five candidates to consider. Once you’ve selected the specialist you’re most confident in, we finalize a few details on the administrative side and then proceed to the next step.
Project Preparation
Once your specialist is ready to begin, we prioritize integrating them into your operation as thoroughly as possible. It wouldn’t be very safe or efficient to have them show up with a minimal understanding of your company and your project. An onboarding process is absolutely necessary to ensure they can perform their duties in the most effective way.
Likewise, if there are any trainings required by your project that a particular specialist doesn’t have going in — or a certain certification they must have to work on your site — we make sure they get it done before or shortly after they arrive. Long story short: Code Red Safety goes above and beyond to provide you with the most qualified and most prepared safety staff.
Following Up
Code Red’s work doesn’t end when a safety specialist starts at your job site. In fact, that couldn’t be further from the truth. We routinely send company representatives out to make sure everything is running smoothly and that the candidate you chose is indeed a good fit. We also do more in-depth check-ins at least once per month to review the specialist’s performance.
One of the things we’re most proud of — and one of the things our clients really love — is how swift the whole safety staffing process is from start to finish. Most clients prefer to have someone on site sooner rather than later. We at Code Red have become quite adept at finding, vetting and delivering the right candidate in just a matter of days.
